Our New Mission for 2008

This year in the Nursery/Toddler classrooms we will be learning about what it means to give and that there are kids just like them, living in other parts of the world. We have sponsored a child in Ecuador through World Vision. Our goal is that they grow up with this child, send pictures and grow a relationship with him and his family. Any offerings the children bring will go to this child.

What is done to be sure that our kids are safe at New Heights?
All individuals who work in our children’s ministry settings are screened and trained to work with the kids. The utmost care and effort is made to ensure that the kids are safe. Each child in our nursery is assigned a number and signed in by a parent or legal guardian. This number is used on our digital number screen located on the west wall of the sanctuary to notify any parent or legal guardian of any problems or issues that would require assistance. Only the person who checked a child into the nursery is able to check a child out of the nursery.
