Water Baptism is the Biblical way we go public with our decision to follow Jesus Christ. Each Sunday during the morning worship, a pastor will be ready by the baptismal tank for anyone to come forward to be baptized. We encourage family and friends to come forward and take pictures and celebrate your decision.

If you would like to be baptized, just come Sunday morning with a towel and a change of clothes.

4 Reasons to be Baptized:

To follow Christ's example.  A Christian is a follower of Christ.  "Jesus...was baptized by John in the Jordan."  Mark 1:9 (NIV)

Christ commanded it.  He instructed His disciples:  "Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit."  Matthew 28:19 (NIV)

It is the pattern followed by the New Testament believers.  "...many of the Corinthians who heard him believed and were baptized." Acts 18:8 (NIV)

Baptism is a symbol of one's union by faith with Christ in death, burial and resurrection.  "Or don't you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death?  We were therefore with Him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life."  Romans 6:3,4 (NIV)
